From 2001 to 2005 Zack & Maryse were part of the Swinging Air Force dance troupe. Most achievements from this time period are connected with this group and the incredible opportunity we had to work with these folks!

Over the years, members of Swing ConneXion have won loads of prizes. Here are a few of their competition highlights. For a complete listing, click here.

The 100 Club: Swing ConneXion is one of the rare schools in Canada to have gone beyond the 100 mark in competition prizes.

A succesful pair: SCX founders and directors Zack & Maryse have more than 50 competition titles worldwide, including four straight years as Canadian Showcase Champions. While they took a break in 2008, they came back and won again in 2009!

Team Power: Teams trained by Swing ConneXion coaches Zack & Maryse have won more than 10 titles worldwide and include the Swinging Air Force, Studio 88 Swing, Woodside Jumpers, SAF: All Bal Team and Balboa ConneXion.

The Famous 2006 Hat Trick: At the Canadian Championships in 2006, dancers from Swing ConneXion performed a seemingly impossible feat, winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the highly competitive Canadian Showcase. The same year two of their teams also held 1st and 2nd place in the team division.

A First: In 2001, the Swinging Air Force, with a number choreographed by Zack & Maryse, became the first Canadian team to compete and win on the international circuit at the American Lindy Hop Championships.

Montreal International Jazz Festival: In the 2007 edition of the biggest Jazz Festival in the world, everyday dancers from SCX entertained the crowd in the Louisiana Parade. An instant success! Watch it here. And they were back each year ever since!

On stage with the Cincinnati Symphonic Orchestra: For the New Year's Eve 2009, an exceptional show at the famed Cincinnati Music Hall.

Big Bad Voodoo at the Place des Arts: This famous neo-swing band came to Montreal in 2003!

100 Years: the History of Swing: When they were heading the Swinging Air Force, Zack & Maryse wrote their first full-feature show featuring swing and tap dancers.

Festival des Montgolfières de Saint-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu: Two shows a day at this beautiful, one-of-a-kind event.

Corporate shows: Swing ConneXion every year spices up conventions, parties and special events. Our clients include the Space Agency, Astrazeneca, Jean-Coutu, the City of Rosemere, the Centre du Commerce Mondial and the Place Ville-Marie.
