Only the best dancers get into Swing ConneXion, and only the harder-working stay!

History & Accomplishments

Created simultaneously with the school's inauguration in 2006, the team has always placed themselves on top in competitions and has always wowed crowds wherever it went, in large parts thanks to the extensive experience of coaches Zack & Maryse. Canadian Champions in Teams in 2006 and 2007, members of the team have also won - an unprecedented event - the first, second and third place in the Canadian Showcase in 2006. Amongst other accomplishments, they got a second place at the American Lindy Hop Championships, and 3rd place at the Grand Bal sous les Etoiles, one of Canada's biggest dance competitions. They've performed at many private events, but more notoriously have been featured in the daily parade at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2007 and 2008.

In 2009, they came back to the Team Division at the Canadian Swing Championships and snatched the first place yet again, making it one of the most successful teams in the CSC history.
